The original volume was labelled: 'Nigeria (Dr Kerr) Zulu (Mrs Beemer) and Kampala (Dr Laird). Includes mosaic drawings, correspondence and analysis of the sets of drawings. Includes mosaics by children from aged 8 onwards; mainly children but also includes adult aged students and adults.

Many of the mosaics include the name, age, school status and some contain other information about the creator's situation.
