A panel ( from a series of six in the college foyer, portraying the evolution of pharmacy), which bears a quote from Lowell: "They must upward still and onward who would keep abreast of the truth"

Founded in 1821, the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science was the first college of pharmaceutical sciences in the United States
