Description

The contents are as follows:- Abstract of lectures, on chemistry as applied to the preparation of medicines, with considerable detail on the theory of chemistry. The text is followed by two indices: Animal Kingdom and Mineral Kingdom.

On the fly-leaf, in Gothic letters, is written "John Coakley Lettsom No XII."

The handwriting is the same throughout and is very neat and careful. The earlier part of the book is written on alternate leaves, but towards the end both sides of all leaves are used. The leaves written upon are paged 1-87.
