Description

Case sheets of selected 'K' patients (between numbers K38 and K249) and one D patient seen beween 1962 and 1965. Each case sheet includes name of patient, hospital number, age, sex, tribe, village, saza, district, date first seen, case history notes, clinical features, location of tumour and treatment sheet with name and dosage of drug (Endoxan) administered and when patient discharged (or if, occasionally, died). Some sheets have related copy letters by Burkitt or referring letters from doctors attached and/or further background on the patient and their living environment. The children were aged mainly between 1 and 18, but there are also male patients aged 21, 25, 27 and 45 and a female aged 23. The patients were all from districts of Uganda, notably Mengo.

These cases are non- jaw and differential diagnosis tumours.
