Alchemist's note-book of extracts from alchemical authors, with notes and comments: in Latin and French. Illustrated with pen drawings of alchemical apparatus, etc.: inside the upper cover a full-page circular diagram of the Macrocosm-Microcosm. Ff. 46 et seq. contain 'Procédé de Paul Stein ou Steiner'. Ff. 67-73. 'Traite de Nicolas de Valois [etc.].' The MS. can be dated approximately by the reference to the 'Thermomètre de Réaumur' [1683-1757], on fol. 59.
