About this work

Description

NIH3T3 fibroblast cells simultaneously express five different fluorescent proteins in varying amounts which gives each cell a unique colour. All progeny derived from the same mother cell will inherit the same colour allowing related cells to be traced (clonal tracking). This could also be used to track cell movement. Fluorescent proteins: Cerulean (cyan), EGFP (green), Venus (yellow), tdTomato (purple), mCherry (red). Tile stitched image size is 800 x 800 micrometers.
