    ‘Information of this kind it cannot be ex pected that an oculist will give; neither his time _nor his profession will admit of it: nor is it possible for him to adapt any short advice to all possible cases, either for absolute cure or preservation, even though he were a practi- tioner of the most extensive experience and practice.
