Description

“Observation d’une brochette tirée d’un abcès au bas-ventre” and “Observation sur une blessure au bas-ventre”, produced at Pondicherry. The first work is a copy, signed at the end: ‘Bourdier Docteur en médecine de la Faculté de Montpellier. Arrivé ce 6 fevrier 1761’. The second is holograph, and signed: ‘Bourdier DM. Arrivé à Mazulipatam’. The first case was the result of an abortion, and contains observations on the practices of Indian midwives for this purpose. The second case was a stab-wound.
