About this work
Description
Ristretto medico. Possibly lectures given to students by an unnamed physician or surgeon, with examples from his own practice: he was a follower of the doctrines of John Brown [1735-1788], and there is a summary of the Brunonian 'Theory of Excitability' following the main text. This is by a different hand: as is a final section headed 'Dei mali del capo'. The date 1804 appears in the section 'Della splenitide' at the end of Section 10. Produced in Turin?
