About this work

Description

Dutton, Joseph Everett: Laboratory note-book containing records of trypanosome injections into frogs. Author's holograph MS. Bathurst ? Some entries have been torn out after the end of the text. Mainly written in pencil and on the rectos only: illustrated with rough pencil drawings of bacteria, etc. Dated from 18 May, 1904 to 19 January, 1905. There are a few added notes by Dr. J. L. Todd. The dates are given in months only, but a reference to Dr. Heiberg on the last page of text, shows that these notes must have been made during the Twelfth (Trypanosomiasis) Expedition sent to the Congo Free State in September 1903 by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
