About this work

Description

Volume into which are bound Rosen's papers and correspondence relating to the proposal, by Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Area Health Authority (Teaching) North West District, to close the Paddington Centre for Psychotherapy and the campaign against the closure. Includes copies of formula and some non-formula letters of protest addressed to Dr Dunwoody, Chairman of the AHA, from supporters of the campaign (some are just signed and others include additional personal comments) who are mainly doctors and GPs, psychiatrists, teachers and health workers. Also contains press cuttings and anti-closure literature as well as protest letters. Letters of protest go up to Jan 1980 and the last letter is a sample circular one, dated 20 May 1981, from the Campaign Committee Against Closure which was sent to supporters following the AHA acceptence of proposals to retain the services of the PCP. Rosen was Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Paddington Centre for Psychotherapy at this time.

The papers are bound roughly in chronological order.
