Notes

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "'The Daytimers' 1970s publicity flier shows an early example of what became typical 'drag' style in Great Britain at the end of the twentieth century. The exaggerated bouffant hair and heavy make-up are a compromise between the over-blown and exaggerated grotesqueness of the pantomime Dame, and the 'passing' glamour of the female impersonator."
This work is untitled: the title has been supplied by the cataloguer.
