Creator/production credits
Attributed to a 17th century Neapolitan painter, possibly the circle of Francesco Fracanzano. It is also close stylistically to the work of Matteo Preti who painted a number of figures wearing turbans (J. Spike, Mattia Preti: catalogue raisonné of the paintings, Florence 1999, no. 452, p. 408)
