Description

Magnetic resonance image (MRI), T2 weighted FLAIR. Axial brain scan of male, aged 25. Shows dark areas of high grade glioma at left side of brain. Inset shows plane of scan. Gliomas are benign and malignant central nervous system neoplasms derived from glial cells (i.e., astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and ependymocytes).
