About this work

Description

Black and white photograph showing deformity of the right knee produced by Charcot's disease. From a man aged 74 years. Enlargement of the knee-joint had existed for two years before the photograph was taken. Both knee-jerks were totally absent, but there were no other signs of tabes. The pupils were equal, and reacted both to light and accommodation.
