Description
Thomas Hodgkin (1798-1866) discovered the glandular disease that bears his name. The programme examines his life and work. Professor William Bynum, Medical Historian, Wellcome Institute, talks about Hodgkin, who was a devout Quaker and philanthropist. He championed many causes and devoted his retirement years to campaigns to help the poor and oppressed.
