Description
Working papers and correspondence relating to clone selection and sequencing carried out by the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology, later continued at the Sanger Centre, and Bob Waterston's laboratory at Washington University in St Louis. The Sanger Centre held cosmid clones which were shipped to St Louis. The two laboratories worked together sequencing one chromosome at a time.
