Jewett's farm, where the family were massacred in 1865

Information on the back of the photograph reads: 'Andrew Jewett's farm, where his Father and Mother, himself and wife and young Tyler were massacred by the Indians at the Garden City, 1865. A.J. Jewett was born in Boston and studied law with Lawyer Wells, formerly Governor of Maine.'
