Description
An introduction to the study of Physic. Transcript by William Younge [1762-1838] of Sheffield. Lettered on the spine 'Dr. Heberden. W.Y. 1786'. On the third fly-leaf is a note dated 5/12/1894 by W[illiam] C[ollett] Homersham, which begins: 'I am told by Mr. William Buller Heberden, Secretary (Excise) of the Board of Inland Revenue, that the writer of this MS. was his great grandfather....' On the first fly-leaf the initials 'W.Y.' These Lectures were given at the Royal College of Physicians, London. Produced in London.
