Larynx, trachea and neighbouring parts showing cyst in thyroid gland

Black and white photograph of the larynx, trachea, and neighbouring parts, showing a cyst in the right lobe of the thyroid gland. The cyst had existed for 30 years and had displaced the trachea, which was considerably flattened. There was no dyspnoea. From a man aged 49 years who died in the City of London Hospital for the Diseases of the Chest, Victoria Park, during the year 1886.
