Description

Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest: 13/28 silicosis; 13/61-62 shotgun injury; 13/73 hypnotic drugs especially barbiturates; 13/79 human remains found on foreshore of Thames; 13/84 CO poisoning from geyser in bathroom; 13/86 luminal poisoning - RAMC Major; 13/110 bones of infant and other material dug up from beneath concrete floor of pigsty; 13/119 aspirin poisoning; 13/131-132 injection of sodium morrhuate into varicose veins; 13/147 burns - suicide - insane; 13/172 narcotic poisoning - Veramon; 13/187 silicosis & chronic TB; 13/189 shot at and wounded a PC before shooting himself; 13/233 hanging "accidental" death; 13/297 hanging - asphyxia - sexual
