Notes

Sam Lawrence comes from York. Works as a dance artist in various ways. She is a choreographer and a performer, runs a dance theatre company and also works in community arts facilitating dance projects in schools, hospitals etc. On the plinth she has developed a dance piece she has done in different ways before. She is turning the plinth into a tropical island and will slowly put the island together and then perform a dance piece around that theme.
