Biographical note

The Joint Action Committee for Families and Family Planning (otherwise known as the JAC: Joint Action Committee) was set up by the FPA and a number of founding organisations in July 1984 to discuss issues of interest on a regular basis. The first meeting of the JAC was held on 15 January 1985.
