About this work

Description

On fol. 1 is a pen-drawn historiated initial, headings and initials in red. On fol. 18v is a rough pen-drawing of a furnace. This passage, however, is not found in the translation of Aristotle's works edited by W. D. Ross, Vol. III, which contains the fourth book of the 'Meteorologica', though there seems to be a doubt whether this book should rightfully be attributed to Aristotle himself or to one of his pupils.
