Description

This comprises correspondence with, or relating to, individual staff, but also some papers about staffing and staff matters. There is some overlap with material in RET 5/1 and RET 5/6. The earlier folders relate more or less entirely to nurses and attendants; from the late 1940s onwards however a few other types of staff are included Included in the correspondence is material relating to applications, testimonials and references, nurse training, pensions and national insurance and (later on) advertisements by the Retreat for posts and circulars from the General Medical Council and other official circulars There is correspondence with individual staff about various topics (more of this type of material survives in the earlier folders)
