The state of France, In a clear Account of the Revenues of that Kingdom; of the receipts and issues, To every particular Item of which there is prefixed a Number referring to the like Number in an annexed Commentary of explanatory Notes. The Accounts themselves being procured from the Closet of the Comptroller-General of the Finances of France, and from the Library of the present Duke of Richelieu. To these is added an account of the rise and progress of the government-debt of that kingdom. Also a general summary of its military and marine forces. The Whole forming the most just and comprehensive View that has hitherto been given of the State of that Nation.
