Receipt-Book, German: 17th century

Collection of medical receipts: in German, mainly by two compilers. Some headings in green: written in two somewhat difficult and illiterate scripts. On the verso of the 6th leaf after p. 201, the anonymous second compiler has made entries of the birth of three sons-in 1688, 1692 and 1694. An added receipt on p. 184 is dated 1759.

1 volume 2 ll. + 201 pp. + 38 ll. 4to. 191/2 × 16 cm. Original vellum binding, worn: from parts of a 14th cent. Latin MS. Pp. 73/74, 199/200 wanting, and a number of leaves torn out in the unpaginated section.
