Notes

Tom Magill comes from Belfast. He is co-founder and artistic Director of the Educational Shakespeare Company. He is an ex-prisoner and now uses his company to work with ex-prisoners on films based on Shakespeare. Was an actor for many years and did very well in this field. Also completed an MA in Cultural Studies. On the plinth he is going to represent the charity - Educational Shakespeare Company by playing an audio recording of drama, poets, songs and comments from ex-prisoners talking about their experiences and the role of the ESC.
