A form a prayer to be used in all churches and chappels throughout the Kingdom of Ireland: On Friday the eighth of December next, being the day appointed by proclamation for a general fast and humiliation, to be observed in a most humble and devout manner. For deprecating God's judgements which the sins of these nations have deserved, to thank him for his goodness in preserving us hitherto from the dreadful plague which rages so terribly in some of our neighbour countries, and to implore him in mercy to continue his favour to us, and preserve us from the infection thereof, and to deliver us from all other calamities which our sins have brought or may bring on these nations. By His Grace the Lord Lieutenant's special command.
