Description

Channel chart, woodcut illustration from Cai ai bianyi (The Mugwort Gatherer's Companion), published in 1805 (10th year of the Jiaqing reign period of the Qing dynasty). In this image, the paths of the three hand yang channels in the outer aspect of the hand and arm are represented by lines on a schematic outline drawing. From left to right, they are the small intestine channel of hand taiyang, the sanjiao (Triple Burner) channel of hand shaoyang, and the large intestine channel of hand yangming.
