    By the Charter of the Infirmary, the following are appointed Managers, viz. ;— The Provost, four Baillies, Dean of Guild, and Treasurer, the Provost of the preceding year, the Town Clerk, and the Convener of the Trades for the City of Aberdeen, all for the time ; the Professor of Medicine in the Marischal Col- lege of Aberdeen ; the Moderator of the Synod of Aberdeen for the time; and also every person who shall contribute and pay in the sum of £50 sterling or more ; or who shall have subscribed, and shall continue to pay, £5 sterling or up- wards yearly, for the use of the said Hospital; or who shall be nominated and ap- pointed by Presbyteries or other bodies, politic or corporate, contributing for the use of the said Infirmary, in one payment, not less than the sum of £100 sterling. In addition to those before mentioned, Fourteen Managers are directed to be elected annually, at the general meeting on the first Monday of December ; six of whom, at least, shall be chosen and taken from the following professions and societies within the city, viz.:—One of the Ministers of Aberdeen, of the Established Church; one of the Managers of the Monies collected for pious uses at St. Paul’s Chapel in the City of Aberdeen ; two of the Physicians residing in Aber- deen ; one of the Society of Shipmasters there; and one of the present or pre- ceding Deacons of any of the Incorporate Trades within the said city; and that Four, at least, of the said Fourteen Managers shall, at every annual election, be changed and removed.
