Montanor's work ends at the top of p. 65: the remainder consists of extracts from printed and MS. works on alchemy. At the end of the last complete leaf: 'à Espinay Lez S. Denis le 13 Novembre 1683'. On the verso of the first (unnumbered) leaf is a pen-drawn coat of arms, under which is inscribed 'B.D. le Ragois Cher M. du R. au Regnt des Gardes Françoises'.
