About this work

Description

A deconvolved wide-field fluorescence microscope image of human HeLa cancer cells in metaphase. The microtubules of the cytoskeleton/spindle show up white, the DNA (chromosomes) red. The yellow dots are sites of a mitotic kinesin, a motor protein involved in moving organelles in a particular direction along microtubules.
