1843 sheet gives profit and loss account, and property of the institution (land value, value of buildings, linen, furniture, drugs, farming etc) and sums owing by the Institution 1844 sheet gives profit and loss account and stock (property of the Institution), farm and garden account, a comparison of the House Expenses for the last two years, and a list of Repairs and Extra Expenses 1844 (useful detail in the latter - eg 'electrical machine and microscope slides'). 1845 account is similar to 1844, but puts Repairs and Extra Expenses under headings (eg 'Damage done by Patients'). 1846 - 1853 format is same as 1845. (1852 statement includes payments to patients and attendants for 'the exhibition' - the Great Exhibition of 1851) The 1853 statement includes everything as above, excepting the Repairs and Extra Expenses; instead it has appended lists of sums due from and to patients (named), taken from the Patients' Ledger. 1854 - 1856, format same as 1853 The 1857 statement has profit and loss account, balance sheet, comparison of housekeeping expenses for two years, and account for farm, garden and pleasure grounds (noting acreage occupied). 1858 - 1873, format is same as 1857. For 1871 there is another copy of profit and loss and balance sheet.
