Description

Daucus carota (Carot) Tall fairy-leafed plant with whitish unbels in wild meadow. Root used as a vegetable and in other culinary products such as bread, cakes and soup. Carrot leaves contain an oil rich in vitamin E. Carrot root contains carotene which is transformed into vitamin A when eaten. Used as treatment to preserve and improve eyesight.
