About this work

Description

An important archive film which describes the incidence, possible complications and risks associated with twin pregnancy before demonstrating a routine for the successful management of twins from antenatal care to delivery. In the latter part of the film, two complete deliveries of twins are shown. In the first, presentation is as two vertices and delivery is uncomplicated. In the second, presentation is as a breech but uterine inertia is a complicating factor, and delivery is effected with a forecps under general anaesthetic.
