Trephined skullin showing different stages of healing

Trephined skull excavated at Jericho in 1958 [Tomb 88] by Dr. Katheeln Kenyon, C.B.E., Director of the British School of Archaeology in Jerusalem. It has been trephined in four places, these show different stages of healing and one of them is almost completely healed.
