Lettering

The tabernacle in the wilderness. -Exodus xxvi. and xxvii ... Lettering continues: "Without shedding of BLOOD is no remission. -Heb. ix. 22. It is not possible that the BLOOD of bulls and goats should take away sins. -Heb. x. 4. The BLOOD of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. -1 John. i. 7. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own BLOOD, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. -Rev. I. 5, 6. The Lord went before Israel in a cloud by day (Exodus xiii. 21). The Lord went before Israel in a fire by night (Exodus xiv. 24). The Lord spread a cloud to cover His people Israel (Psalms cv. 39). The Lord WILL give Israel a shining fire by night (This prophecy will be fulfilled when the Lord restores His people Israel and Judah. Isaiah iv, 4, 6). The Lord WILL give Israel a shadow in the day-time, to screen them from the heat, from storm, and from rain ([ditto previous parenthesis except for] Rom. xi. 25-27). [Numbered on the picture:] The gate of the court; the brazen altar; the laver [the font in the centre]; tabernacle, with coverings; the cloud of glory [the smoke from the sacrifice]; and the court hangings." [The names of the twelve tribes of Israel are written on flags around the camp and along three of the sides of the enclosure are the names Kohath, Gershon and Merari, designating the tribes elected with the task of carrying the components of the tabernacle. At the entrance to the tabernacle there is the lettering "Moses & Aaron & Aaron's sons"]
