Lettering

These photographs show a Chinese beggar who was paralysed badly and taken for dead in the city of Nanking, China. ... Lettering hand-written in capital letters with black ink on mount and continues: "He was duly buried on the hillside, and more than a week later people passing heard knocking coming from the inside of the coffin, the grave authorities and police were informed. On opening the coffin they found the man had been buried alive, the shock had cured his paralysis and though starved he was taken to hospital and eventually recovered"
