Emma Backhouse is an artist mum from Doncaster who had two children by the time she was twenty-one. She has now gone back to school and has completed a two-year access to art foundation and it about to start a degree in fine art in September. On the plinth she will be listening to music on her iPod, texting, sketching, jumping around, she is not sure until she gets up there.
