Acquisition note

Purchased 1930.

Biographical note

The script is difficult, but the Author of the MS. seems to have been a Jansenist, and is possibly a relative of Louis Gorin de Saintamour [1619-1687]. Among his case-histories are those of his Father, Sister and Uncle. There is also an anti-Jesuit acrostic.

Outside the upper cover signature of 'C. Lemoine' and below 'Ex libris J. B[aptis]te Moulinet' both by 18th cent. hands.
