Maurice Wilkins’ laboratory notebook with notes made as a physics undergraduate, St John’ College, Cambridge, 1936, and used subsequently for his microscopy research at King’s College London, 1948-1950, with reference to topics including refraction in minerals and the mechanical properties of crystals and thermal conductivity. Also related loose papers, including graphs, notes, diagrams and correspondence.
