About this work

Description

A deconvolved wide-field fluorescence microscope image of a transformed kidney cell line (essentially cancer cells) of Xenopus during prometaphase. The DNA is stained blue (DAPI stain), and the microtubules of the cytoskeleton/spindle green. The red is Aurora B, a protein kinase involved in the polymerisation/depolymerisation of the microtubules.
