Jez Collins comes from Birmingham. He is a lecturer in Music Culture at Birmingham City University. He is currently working on an oral history archive of music in Birmingham. He is passionate about cultural value of music and is very passionate about politics. On the plinth he is going to talk about his life over the past 20 years and also about his mother who he loves dearly.
