Description

Letters from the Provost to J B S Haldane regarding the vacant Chair of Mathematics. Consists of a letter enclosing notes on possible candidates for the Chair prior to the meeting of the Sub-Committee on 25 April 1950, and a letter dated 26 Apr 1950 inviting Haldane to a lunch with Dr Dyson and other members of the Sub-Committee on 3 May 1950.
