12 February, 1919. Signed and sealed papers identifying Philip Faris Mishalany as a travelling representative of the firm in the Near East.
21 May, 1919. Joseph Collett Smith, authority to sign business documents. Signed and sealed by George Pearson on behalf of Henry Wellcome. With memorandum (1919) from Pearson noting "you will only act in the name of Mr Wellcome when I am absent". And memorandum (1924) confirming continuing authority.
