About this work

Description

Draft text (holograph) of Crick (1957), "X-ray diffraction of protein crystals," together with related correspondence with the publisher (Academic Press) and one of the editors (Sidney P Colowick) of the volume in which the chapter appeared: Colowick and Kaplan (eds.), Methods in Enzymology, Vol 4 (New York, 1957), 127-46.

Correspondence indicates that Crick drafted the chapter whilst he was at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.

Also included in the file is a letter of some length (holograph, n.d.) to Max Delbrück, and a note from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn Chapter of the Society of the Sigma XI confirming Crick's election to Full Membership.
