Description

"Draft Minutes of Meeting of the Home Trade Committee held on October 24th 1924 at 47 Russell Square". Present: T A Robertson, N D Pagden, W F Stiff. In attendance: P R Clarke, Mr Bragda. Mr Stiff was appointed Chairman of the Committee.

A set of Home Sales figures for 1923-24, providing a breakdown by county, and deriving from the same meeting.

Two draft public statements: "Amalgamation of Businesses" and "Union of Business Interests".

26 November, 1924. Russell Square, J A Hill to Timson, enclosing attached "Terms of Reference - Home Sales".

9 December, 1924. Note without title, by T Ainslie Robertson and N D Pagden, beginning: "With reference to the recommendation of the Home Trade Committee that the Home Trade Office should not be separated from the Export and the Accounts...."

15 December, 1924. "Information compiled by Brig General R M Foot and despatched to Sir R A Cooper on Decmber 15th, 1924, in reply to the latter's Memorandum dated December 1st 1924." Contains staff lists ("indoor" and "outdoor" staff), giving names and salaries, divided into William Cooper & Nephews Ltd, McDougall & Robertson Ltd, and McDougall & Yalding Ltd, as at 12 December, 1924.

22 December, 1924. "Approximate Statement of Profits etc Scottish Trade" (1920-23).
