About this work

Physical description

1 print : lithograph ; image 9.9 x 8.8 cm

Lettering

Mr. Lambkin suddenly feels rather poorly, something in the "whitebait dinner", having disagreed with him; probably the "water souchy", or that confounded melted butter, (couldn't possibly been the wine.) His friends endeavor to relieve him with little drops of brandy, and large doses of soda water.

Notes

On the reverse are three prints, also from the Cruikshank series about the adventures of Mr. Lambkin
