About this work

Description

Computer artwork showing learning and memory in an infant. The brain is continually developing in response to visual and auditory stimulus like sound, shape and colour. These things allow us to identify objects and distinguish between them. The region of the brain that controls learning, memory and emotion is called the limbic system, the hippocampus is part of the limbic system and is responsible for new memories.
